Your Life Your Responsibility

We grow up believing that our family, friends, or even society will always be there to help us. We think that someone will step in and save us when life gets hard. But the truth is, no one else is responsible for your life—only you are.

If you don’t believe me, try asking the person you trust the most it could be your mother, your sister/brother or a close friend, to wake up early and go to work instead of you, they will refuse, not because they don’t care, but because your life is your responsibility. No one will fight your battles, no one will hand you success, and they can give advice or support, but in the end, you are the only one who can take action.  If you want something in your life, you need to take responsibility for it. You may want to know what I mean by taking responsibility. Taking responsibility means accepting the fact that your life is in your hands, owning your mistakes, learning from them, finding solutions to improve, and last but not least, not relying on people or excuses.

In conclusion, the moment you stop expecting someone to fix things for you and you start working on them, that’s the moment that the real change will happen.
