BPD

Today, we’re talking about a problem many of us are dealing with, but we don’t know much about it. We often think it’s just normal and something not related to any medical condition. To help explain what I mean, let’s start with a few questions:

  • Does your mood change quickly during the day?
  • Do you get emotional easily and react strongly to small things?
  • Do you feel tired and sad often during the day?

These are some of the signs of BPD or Borderline Personality Disorder. You might wonder, “Why do I, or someone else, have this disorder?” There are many possible reasons: trauma during childhood, emotional difficulties, stress from society, and so much more.Today, I hear many adults and teenagers talking about these problems, and most of them think it’s normal. But about 5.9% of the world’s population has this disorder, and 70-80% have tried to harm themselves or attempted suicide. We are living in a time where people are becoming more aware, and it’s important to ask for help from a friend, family member, or doctor if you see these signs in yourself or someone else.

Remember, your mind and body are like a flower that needs sunlight and water to grow, so take care of them with kindness!
